对于为什么我会选择圣马丁，主要有以下几个原因：第一，读完圣马丁所得到的伦敦大学政经学院毕业文凭和在英国本土毕业的文凭是一模一样的。第二，作为一个全日制的学生，我所感受到的是高质量的小班制教学，拥有高文凭的师资力量，教学与多媒体相结合的教育模式。除此之外，我所学的经济与管理学位能够最大程度的使我将来进入社会掌握和拥有与金融，会计，管理相关的知识。最后，我相信圣马丁一定会引领我更好的朝着我的目标迈进。
My name is Kevin. I come from Zhejiang province in China. I am a first year student of St Martin’s Institute of IT. There are various reasons to encourage me to chosen this institute.
First, St Martin’s Institute of Information Technology offer the degree for Malta from the London university school of economics is exactly the same as that offered to its own students in London.
Second, as a full time student the classroom sessions are with high quality teaching, small number of students, well qualified and experienced lecturers, advanced electronic teaching equipment, etc. besides, the course I've chosen is well designed for my career ambitious to become a business man working within the field of finance, management and accounting.
Finally, I believe St Martin will assist and lead me to a further success towards my goal.

我是王道萍，来自中国江苏。在圣马丁学院大一学习经济学。虽然马耳他是一个小岛国，但是我选择他是看中它的英语环境，因为英语是其官方语言之一。马耳他一年大多数都是阳光灿烂而且这里的人都很友善。
现在我就读于圣马丁学院，个人很喜欢这所学校。不但因为它是著名学府的分院，而且我对经济专业非常感兴趣。 在这学习半年了，我已经习惯了这里的学习节奏。不仅是小班教学，而且老师都非常负责。学校的要求严格，标准亦高。相对英美国家而言其学费和生活费都不算贵。虽然目前学习压力不小，但是想到三年后所取得毕业证书的分量，我觉得辛苦三年还是值得的。
最后，我欢迎所有对此学院感兴趣的学生来到马耳他圣马丁学院学习，感受这里不一样的人文氛围。
I am Laura, come from Jiangsu Province in China. Now I am in the first year study at St Martin’s Institute of IT and major in Economics. I choose Malta because English is one of its official languages. And its beautiful environment and Maltese people are very friendly.
The reasons for me to choose St Martin’s Institute of IT are listed as below:
I have a strong interest in studying economics. LSE is one of the most famous universities in the world which is famous of Economics and Political. St Martin’s provides students a small group of study. Teachers of the institution are helpful. And school has a very high standard and requirements for each student. Another reason is the tuition fee and cost of living in Malta is much cheaper than UK and American.
Although study at St Martin’s is not easy I am still feeling worth. I know I will get golden honors degree from University of London after 3 years.
Finally, welcome to Malta and welcome to study at St Martin’s Institute of IT.

我是张茅茅，来自中国浙江。现在我是圣马丁学院大一的学生，主修经济管理。
很多我的朋友还有同学问我为什么选择圣马丁学员而非其它学校。我想理由有三个。
首先， 在我来到马耳他之前，我在马耳他教育局网站上了解到圣马丁信息技术学院，并知道其毕业文凭是国际认可，毕业生都在各自的工作岗位取得优异的成绩。 同时，所有的考试及评卷都是由伦敦大学统一举办。 专科毕业后还能轻松转读英国其他地区的大学。
其次，来到马耳他之后了解到马耳他大学。但是我仍然没有放弃我的选择。因为我清楚地记得在马大读书的朋友建议我，不要选择马大除非你有非常高的自觉能力，原来很多马大的老师不是全日制上班，一般学生有问题都很难找到老师帮助解答。 但是这些问题从来不会在圣马丁学院发生。
最后，在圣马丁学院学习的这段时间我已经深深的喜欢上这所学校。学院的老师都认真负责，当学生有问题的时候也都耐心辅导，帮助解决难题。同时，老师还帮助培养我们的自学能力，提高分析和判断的能力。每周一到周四八点半开始上课，每学年每节课学生都必须达到80%出勤率，否则将不得参加伦敦大学考试。对于一些不认真学习又想逃课的学生而言这可不是什么好事，不过就因为这样认真负责的学校才能培养出优秀的毕业生。而且每个在校教师都拥有良好的教育水平以及长时间的教学经验。
通过这些总结，我只是想把我了解的圣马丁学院以及我为什么选择这所学校告诉你。 希望我的经历能够帮助您或者您的孩子选择一所最好的学院学习！
My name is Maomao Zhang; I come from Zhejiang province. I am studying Economics and Management at St. Martin Collage as a first year student.
Many of my friends and my ex classmates have asked me why I chose St. Martin in stead of other institutions in the Island. Reasons are listed as below:
First of all, before I came to Malta, I have found St Martin’s Institute of IT from Malta Education Website. St. Martin’s qualifications are internationally recognized and many of graduates have gone on to develop successful careers in business, commerce, law and other areas. Students study at St Martin’s and take their exams locally through the British Council. All of papers are marked by University of London you could also move to any other British Universities after your diploma study.
Then, after I arrived at Malta, I knew there are some other education institutions such as University of Malta, which is well known in Malta. But I still did not choose it. Why? Some of my friends who studied at University of Malta suggested me do not choose University of Malta unless you could be self motivated. The reason is most of teachers at University of Malta are not employed on full time basis. Students could not find a help once they have problems in their study. However, these things are never happened in St. Martin’s.
Last but not least, since I am studying in St. Martin, step by step, I love here deeply. No exaggerated, St Martin’s lectures have good responsibility for their students, for instance, when I have some difficult questions, teachers always glad to explain how to solve them. Apart from this, Rigorous teaching requires us to gain abilities as much as we can. Every day from Monday to Thursday we are required to come to school before 8：30am, a student misses lecture ,the parents well be informed, if a student misses lectures over 20% of the whole semester, they won’t be allowed to take exams. Also, this is “bad thing” for some lazy students who intended to escape some lectures. Of course, students and parents would ask how the teachers’ resources are; I can tell you don’t worry about it because the lecturers are selected precisely and rigorously. Every lecturers are well educated and had long teaching experience.
All in all, above I just want to tell how St. Martin is; why I chose here to have further education. Hope my experience may help you or your children to find a fantastic place to enjoy studying!

Hello, my name is Julia, I am 22 years old and I am coming form Germany. I have been studying at the St Martin’s institute of IT since I was 18 and I have graduated successfully in the Diploma in Economics in 2007. I am now carrying on the last year of my degree BSc (Hons) in Economics and Management here at St Martin’s.
I chose to study at St Martin’s because it is different from other universities. In my previous scholastic year, we were only a small number of students in my course. This was a great opportunity for me from which I benefited greatly due to the special attention that I got from our lecturers. The university of London courses that St Martin’s offers are quite challenging but help to develop and strengthen the students’ skills.
Life in Malta in general is very sociable. All the Maltese I have met were extremely kind and open with me from the very beginning which enabled me to find friends easily. In summer there are a lot of events taking place on the little island. Nearly every week there is something to do such as going to concerts, parties or barbeques at the beach.
Being surrounded by different nationalities helped me a lot to widen my personal perspective and to respect and tolerate different cultures.
Malta has an amazing history due to its central position in the Mediterranean which is still present today in its architecture and can be viewed in Malta’s museums.
St Martin’s Institute of IT is a perfect institute to study and I am sure that if a student is hard-working, he/she can have great success in life.

Marco Paolillo---1st year BSc Economics and Management
Reading for a degree under the direction of the University of London is a challenging experience. St. Martins Institute of IT is giving me the chance to do this while providing an environment made up of small classes. Thanks to this structure, I'm improving my English at a very fast rate. Language, in fact, was my concern, since my first year in the degree at St. Martins was my first year abroad as well. Thanks to the very helpful staff, I overcame the difficulties of the first moments and English does not worry me that much now. I really believe this course will open to me many opportunities, not only in my home country Italy, but also in the international context.
