SEC Ordinary Level - Computing

Prepare yourself for an Ordinary Level SEC examination with Saint Martin's Institute of Higher Education. Established in 1985, the Institute was the very first to offer tuition at Ordinary Level in Computer Studies and its reputation is undisputed.

This course, prepared and delivered by professional full time academics, prepares students for the SEC examination in May 2015. Students will have access to a computer for sole use at Saint Martin's Institute but it is essential that students have access to a computer with a word processor, spreadsheet and database, installed at home.

Students are tested regularly, including a mock examination which will be held in March. Each student who completes the course is expected to sit for the MATSEC Ordinary Level Examination held in May.

Students intending to sit for the public examination must be of age before the closing dates of applications, or completed their fifth form.

The course starts in September 2014 and will end in April 2015.

The course is of 24 lessons, each of a minimum of 2 hours duration, totaling 48 hours in total.
